About the Book:
Victorian serial killer Jack the Ripper is in search of new victims in New York City, where two young female activists are working to improve the lives of slum families. When they realize there is a young woman in danger from exploitative capitalists, they mount a rescue effort, joined by an aspiring girl reporter and a handsome Irish bartender. About the Author:
Julie Berry is the bestselling children’s author of the award winner Lovely War and the Wishes and Wellingtons series, among other novels. Julie holds a BS from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MFA from Vermont College of the Fine Arts. She lives in western New York, where she owns the independent bookstore Author’s Note.
